This notification is made on the basis of the new European legislation on the processing of personal data and aims to inform you about your rights in connection with the processing of such data, information that will help you decide knowingly with regarding your agreement to process certain personal data belonging to you (“Data”), for the purposes and conditions set out below.

The company will process personal data consisting of, but not limited to, name, surname, personal numerical code, signature, contact address, telephone, e-mail, data on the insurable property, data on the contractor, the insured and / or the beneficiaries of the policy, the payer or the history of damages as the case may be.
The general purpose of Data Processing is the activity of insurance intermediation and related services and consists of the following:
(i) “Purpose of offering / issuing an insurance contract” – the processing of personal data by the Company is done in order to obtain the most advantageous insurance offers from partner insurance companies, in accordance with the legislation on the processing of personal data, insurance and code of conduct legislation in the industry. In the case of certain insurance products (RCA for example), automatic profiling can be performed in order to assess the risk according to the regulations of the Financial Supervisory Authority so that the insurance offer can be issued based on automatic rating decisions. This purpose does not include insurance policies that require the processing of information about your health or information about minors or other persons under your responsibility.
(ii) “Purpose of administration of insurance policies, damage assistance and consulting – The Company will process Personal Data in order to provide insurance intermediation services, in the administration of your insurance policies and to intervene in your support in relation to insurance companies in situations of occurrence of the insured risk, in accordance with the legislation on the processing of personal data, the legislation on insurance and codes of conduct in the industry.
The legal basis for the collection and processing of personal data may be, as the case may be:
– The insurance contract / insurance policy to which the data subject is a party or the express request of the data subject to obtain an insurance offer through the Company and / or the issuance of the respective insurance policy by us,
– Fulfillment of the legal obligations of the Company,
– Fulfilling the legitimate interests of the Company in the context of carrying out the object of activity
– The consent of the data subject, where applicable
Personal data can be transferred, depending on the types of insurance we will mediate for you to: state authorities, PAID (in case of compulsory home insurance), providers directly / indirectly involved in the bidding process, issuance, administration of insurance policies and offering assistance to damages (insurance-reinsurance companies from Romania or from the European Union as well as other companies from the group they belong to, service companies in case of possible damages, archiving companies, suppliers IT services, courier companies, law firms).
We inform you that the transformation of the insurance offer accepted by you into an insurance policy / contract will be conditioned by your acceptance of the information note regarding the processing of personal data, or, as the case may be, of the consent belonging to the chosen Insurer.
The data will be stored by the Company as follows:
– For the “General Insurance Offer Purpose”, for the period of validity of the offer plus 60 days from the expiration or until the withdrawal of your consent.
– For “Purpose of administration of insurance policies, damage assistance and consultancy for the period of validity of the policy plus another 5 years from its termination or 5 years from the opening of the claim file.
We inform you that you have, cumulatively, the following rights regarding the Data in the relationship between you and the Company: Right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure of data (“Right to be forgotten”), right to withdraw consent, right to data portability, the right to restrict processing, the right to object to processing, the right to file a complaint with the Company or the ANSPDCP.
Important: If, in order to conclude an insurance contract through Risk Control Insurance and Reinsurance Broker SRL, you also send us the personal data of another person, you have the legal obligation to communicate this information to that person and to consent to it. the applied cases, within maximum 1 month from the date of providing the personal data.
To exercise the rights listed above and details, you can contact the Company through the following ways: (i) submit a written request dated and signed at any headquarters or office, (ii) at the e-mail address: datepersonale@riskcontrol.ro or (iii) by mail to the postal address of the Company’s headquarters mentioned above. The person responsible for the protection of personal data may be contacted for any clarifications, information, and requests in connection with the exercise of the rights mentioned above through any of the contact methods listed above.
